Va. Code § 38.2-1058: Felony for State Treasurer to dispose of securities illegally

If the State Treasurer disposes of any securities deposited with him under this title, other than as provided in this title, he shall be guilty of a Class 3 felony, and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine double the amount of the disposed securities.Code 1950, § 38-53; 1952, c. 317, § 38.1-122; 1986, c. 562.
