Va. Code § 38.2-3100: Scope of chapter

Except as otherwise provided, this chapter applies to insurers transacting life insurance and the granting of annuities, and to life insurance and annuities as defined in §§ 38.2-102 through 38.2-107.1.1952, c. 317, § 38.1-431; 1986, c. 562; 1994, c. 316.
