No group accident and sickness insurance policy, nor any group subscription contract, delivered or issued for delivery in this Commonwealth or renewed, reissued or extended if already issued, shall contain any provision excluding or reducing the benefits of any insured or subscriber because benefits have been paid or are payable under any individually underwritten and individually issued policy or subscription contract providing exclusively for accident and sickness benefits and for which the entire premium has been paid by the insured, a member of the insured's family, or the insured's guardian or conservator.1978, c. 496, § 38.1-348.10; 1986, c. 562; 1997, c. 801.
