A. Providers existing prior to July 1, 1986, shall comply with its provisions within six months of July 1, 1986. However, the Commission may extend the period within which an existing facility shall comply with this chapter for an additional six months with good cause shown.B. Continuing care contracts entered into prior to the effective date of this chapter or prior to registration of the provider shall be valid and binding upon both parties in accordance with their terms.1985, c. 554, § 38.1-967; 1986, c. 562.
