The purpose of this chapter is to regulate the formation and operation of risk retention groups and purchasing groups in this Commonwealth formed pursuant to the provisions of the federal Liability Risk Retention Act of 1986 to the extent permitted by such law.1987, c. 585; 1992, c. 588.
