Va. Code § 38.2-6016: Applicability of securities laws

Nothing in this chapter shall preempt or otherwise limit the provisions of the Virginia Securities Act (§ 13.1-501 et seq.), or any regulations, notices, bulletins or other interpretations issued by or through the Commission acting pursuant to the Virginia Securities Act. Compliance with the provisions of this chapter shall not constitute compliance with any applicable provision of the Virginia Securities Act and any amendments thereto or any regulations, notices, bulletins, or other interpretations issued by or through the Commission acting pursuant to the Virginia Securities Act.2003, c. 717.
