Va. Code § 38.2-6112: Licensing of agents

Dental benefit contracts may be solicited only through health insurance agents and limited lines life and health agents licensed in accordance with Chapter 18 (§ 38.2-1800 et seq.) of this title. Home office salaried officers whose principal duties and responsibilities do not include the negotiation or solicitation of dental benefit contracts shall not be required to be licensed.2004, c. 668.
