Va. Code § 46.2-1562: Dealer to insert his name, date of issuance and expiration, make and identification number of vehicle

Every dealer who issues temporary license plates shall insert clearly and indelibly on the face of each temporary license plate the name of the issuing dealer, the date of issuance and expiration, and the make and identification number of the vehicle for which issued.1988, c. 865, § 46.1-550.5:20; 1989, c. 727.
