The Commissioner shall not accept any bond unless it is conditioned for payments in amounts and under the same circumstances as would be required in a motor vehicle liability policy furnished by the person giving proof.Code 1950, § 46-466; 1958, c. 541, § 46.1-477; 1989, c. 727.
