Va. Code § 46.2-463: Penalty for forging evidence of financial responsibility

Any person who forges or without authority signs any evidence of ability to respond in damages or knowingly attempts to employ or use any evidence of ability to respond in damages, as required by the Commissioner in the administration of this chapter shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.Code 1950, § 46-485; 1958, c. 541, § 46.1-496; 1989, c. 727.
