Va. Code § 52-24: Compensation

Such investigators and temporary special police officers shall be paid such compensation as may be allowed by the Governor, such compensation to be paid from such moneys as shall be appropriated to the Governor for the executive control of the Commonwealth, and not otherwise specifically appropriated.Code 1919, § 332; 1932, p. 136; 1958, c. 611.
