Va. Code § 58.1-13: State taxes to be paid into the general fund

Except when otherwise specifically provided, all state taxes, including penalties and interest, collected under the provisions of this title, shall, when paid into the state treasury, be paid into the general fund of the state treasury for the support of the government.Code 1950, § 58-26; 1984, c. 675.
