Va. Code § 6.2-1126: Audit of savings institution; report

The directors of every savings institution shall, at least once in each calendar year, cause an independent audit by a certified public accountant to be made of the institution, its operation and its general books of account. The report of such audit shall be presented to the institution's board of directors at its next regular meeting after completion of the audit.
