Va. Code § 64.2-558: Distribution to persons standing in loco parentis to certain beneficiaries

Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a distribution to a person standing in loco parentis to an incapacitated person or an infant pursuant to authorization under subdivision B 17 of § 64.2-105 or a comparable provision in a will or trust instrument may be approved by the commissioner of accounts without regard to the amount or value of the fund or property.1980, c. 507, § 64.1-180.1; 1997, c. 801; 2012, c. 614.
