Va. Code § 9.1-185.11: Firearms, training and usage; standards and requirements

A. If a bail bondsman chooses to carry a firearm in the course of his duties, he shall be required to:1. First complete basic firearms training, as defined by the Board; and2. Receive ongoing in-service firearms training, as defined by the Board.B. In the event a bail bondsman discharges a firearm during the course of his duties, he shall report it to the Department within 24 business hours.2004, c. 460.
