24 V.S.A. App. ch. 113, § 210: Compensation of Selectboard; appointees

(a) Compensation paid to the Selectboard shall be set by the voters at the annual meeting.

(b) The Selectboard shall fix the compensation of all officers and employees, except as otherwise provided in this charter. All fees payable to the Town Clerk shall be paid to the Town Treasury and the compensation fixed by the Selectboard shall be in lieu of any such fees otherwise payable to the Town Clerk.
