24 V.S.A. App. ch. 147, § 5.5: Record of proceedings

(a) It shall be the duty of the Selectboard to keep official records of its proceedings, which shall be open for public inspection.

(b) The minutes of each meeting shall be approved by the Board at its next meeting and the official copy authenticated by the signature of the Chair and placed on file in the Town Clerk’s office.
