RCW 46.20.134: Sex designation changes—Confidentiality.

(1) The department may not display, transmit, or otherwise make available any record or supporting documentation of a person's sex designation change except with the consent of the person, given for a specific purpose.

(2) Credentials and digital records issued after a change to sex designation must contain only the current sex designation and no indicator that a change occurred.
