Wis. Stat. § 66.1036: Building permit for a shoreland structure.

If an activity in a shoreland setback area to which s. 59.692 (1k) (a) or (b) applies requires a building permit, the city, village, or town that issues the building permit for that activity shall provide a copy of the building permit to the county clerk.
