22 U.S.C. § 10811: Prohibition on importing, and sanctions with respect to, uranium from the Russian Federation

(a) Implementation of prohibition on uranium imports from the Russian FederationUpon the date of September 18, 2026, the President shall take all necessary steps to implement the requirements of section 2297h–10a(d) of title 42 regarding the importation of uranium from the Russian Federation, including the importation of any uranium from Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation or any subsidiary or successor entity. (b) SanctionsBeginning on the date described in section 2297h–10a(d)(2)(C) of title 42, and every 180 days thereafter, the President shall impose sanctions described in section 10802(e) of this title with respect to any leaders, officials, senior executive officers, or members of the board of directors of, or principal shareholders with a controlling or majority interest in, Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation or any subsidiary or successor entity.
