22 U.S.C. § 10816: Sanctions implementation and penalties

(a) ImplementationThe President may exercise all authorities provided under sections 1702 and 1704 of title 50 to carry out sections 10802 through 10811 of this title. (b) PenaltiesThe penalties provided for in subsections (b) and (c) of section 1705 of title 50 shall apply to any person that violates, attempts to violate, conspires to violate, or causes a violation of any prohibition under any of sections 10802 through 10811 of this title, or an order or regulation prescribed under any of such sections, to the same extent that such penalties apply to a person that commits an unlawful act described in subsection (a) of that section.
