Ala. Code § 45-59-140.05: Notice of Election.

The judge of probate shall give notice of any election held under this article by publishing for three weeks at least once a week, on the same day of each week, in a newspaper of general circulation in the territory where the election is to be held, a notice that on the day fixed for the election the questions to be voted on shall be submitted to the electors of the territory.
