10 GCA § 2603: Amount of Grants.

Upon receipt of an application for general assistance, the Director shall investigate and prepare a complete record of the circumstances of the applicant and his dependents, if any. The amount or value of such assistance shall not exceed such minimum as in the judgment of the Director will provide for the minimum needs including food, shelter, clothing, utilities and incidentals compatible with the maintenance of decency and health of such applicant and his dependents.
