10 GCA § 2604: Disaster Relief.

In the case of disaster resulting from natural or other causes, the Director, at and under the direction of I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi, is authorized to provide such relieve as may be necessary to assist victims in their emergency needs. I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi is authorized to make additional funds available for this purpose from any appropriation enacted for disaster relief, and to take such action as may be necessary to qualify for aid from the Federal government in such cases.
