5 GCA § 13.202: Implementation of the Guam World War II Reconciliation Act of 2021.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, within thirty (30) days of the enactment of the Guam World War II Reconciliation Act of 2021, I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan shall submit to the Speaker of I Liheslaturan Guåhan an implementation plan, which shall include a proposed funding source(s), for the payment of war claims under U.S. Public Law 114-328 to claimants who failed to meet the one (1)-year filing deadline under Section 1705(b)(2) of U.S. Public Law 114-328. Upon the submission of I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan’s implementation plan, I Liheslaturan Guåhan may adopt, reject, or amend the plan in the form of a bill. If after thirty (30) calendar days, I Liheslaturan Guåhan fails to act on the plan as submitted, the plan shall be deemed adopted.
