5 GCA § 34142: Notice of Foreign Support Order.

On the date a support order is entered pursuant to § 34141 of this Chapter, the Superior Court shall serve upon the obligor, in accordance with § 34132 of this Chapter, notice of a proposed income withholding. That notice shall contain the same information required in § 34132 of this Chapter. The notice shall also advise the obligor that the income withholding was requested on the basis of a support order of another jurisdiction. The date of serving notice on the obligor shall be the equivalent as that specified in § 34131 of this Chapter for the purpose of measuring time for holding a hearing and rendering a decision.
