7 GCA § 9203: Membership of Board: Number of Members; Manner of Appointment.

The Board of the Law Library established in § 9202 of this Chapter shall consist of nine (9) members and shall be constituted as follows:
(a) the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Guam may appoint himself or herself, or one (1) Associate Justice of the Supreme Court to serve ex officio as a trustee or, in the event a Justice chooses not to so serve, he shall appoint a Law Clerk in the employ of the Court or a member of the Guam Bar to serve as trustee for a term of three (3) years;
(b) the Judge of the District Court may appoint himself or herself to serve ex officio as a trustee or, in the event he chooses not to serve, he may appoint a Law Clerk in the employ of the District Court or a member of the Guam Bar to serve as trustee; provided, that if there be more than one (1) Judge of the District Court, such Judges may appoint one (1) of their number to so serve, they may appoint a Law Clerk in the employ of the District Court or a member of the Guam Bar to serve as trustee to a term of four (4) years;
(c) the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court may appoint himself or herself, or one (1) Judge of the Superior Court to serve ex officio as a trustee or, in the event a Judge chooses not to serve, the Presiding Judge shall appoint a Law Clerk in the employ of the Superior Court or a member of the Guam Bar to serve as trustee for a term of three (3) years;
(d) the Judicial Council shall appoint one (1) trustee who is a member of the Guam Bar for a term of four (4) years;
(e) the Chairman of the committee that has oversight of the judiciary of I Liheslaturan Guåhan shall appoint one (1) trustee who is a member of the Guam Bar for a term of two (2) years expiring no later than the last day of the legislative term in which the appointment occurred;
(f) the Director of the Guam Public Library System shall be a trustee ex officio;
(g) I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi shall appoint one (1) trustee who is a member of the Guam Bar for a term of four (4) years expiring no later than the last day of I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi’s term in which the appointment occurred; and
(h) the President of the Guam Bar Association shall appoint two (2) trustees who are members of the Guam Bar for a term of two (2) years.
