305 ILCS 5/5J-10: Definitions.

As used in this Article:

"Closed hospital" means a hospital that closed after January 1, 2019.

"Department" means the Department of Healthcare and Family Services.

"Program" means the Distressed Hospital Loan Program.

"Public hospital" means a hospital that is licensed by the Hospital Licensing Act and is either owned or operated by a governmental body in Illinois, excluding a State agency, a State university, or a county with a population of 3,000,000 or more.
