5 ILCS 260/8

If such officer fails to satisfy the court that his official bond is sufficient, the court shall require him, within such time as it shall direct, not exceeding thirty days, to give a new bond, with sufficient sureties, to be approved in the same manner as the bonds of such officers are required by law to be approved.
