IC 4-31-2.1-5: "Breeder"

Sec. 5. "Breeder" means any of the following:

(1) The owner or lessee of a standardbred horse's dam at the time of breeding.

(2) The owner or lessee of a thoroughbred horse's dam at the time of foaling for thoroughbreds. The commission shall recognize the breeder of a horse as the person designated as such on the Jockey Club Certificate of Registration for the horse.

(3) The owner or lessee of a quarter horse's dam at the time of the dam's registration with the commission.
