KRS 109.150: Acquisition of property by waste management district.

The waste management district may acquire by bequest, gift, grant or purchase such real

and personal property or any interest therein as may be necessary to accomplish its

purposes. Title to all property acquired by the waste management district shall be v ested

solely in the name of the district. With the approval of the department the waste

management district may apply for and receive funds available under federal legislation

such as grants and loans for the purpose of improving solid waste management.
