KRS 15.946: In-service training for peace officers on child sexual abuse.

The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council shall provide an in -service training program for

peace officers in child development, the dynamics of physical and sexual abuse, the

impact of violence on child development, the treatment of offenders, and related issue s.

Each peace officer desiring to participate in the Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation

Fund program, if eligible to participate, shall successfully complete the in -service

training.
