KRS 212.110: Certification of election results.

The result of any county election for the creation, establishment and maintenance of a

county department of health shall be certified to the fiscal court of the county in which the

department is to be created, established and maintained. The fiscal court s hall, if the

result of the election is certified as in favor of the department, forthwith proceed to

declare the county a county department of health, and shall proceed to put the department

of health into effect in the same manner as they are authorized t o do upon their own

initiative. The cost and expense of its creation, establishment and maintenance shall

follow the provisions of KRS 212.040.
