KRS 304.18-160: Alcoholism to be considered a disease.
Where this section sits in the code
Treatment for alcoholism in acute care hospitals licensed by the Commonwealth or
accredited by the Joint Commission shall be treated by all health care carriers as any other
disease entity covered by their contracts.
