KRS 322.390: Intent of General Assembly.

It is the intent of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky to:

(1) Ensure the availability of professional engineers and professional land surveyors in

the Commonwealth; and

(2) Address professional engineer and professional land surveyor wor kforce

development and needs throughout the Commonwealth by providing eligible

Kentucky residents with scholarships to:

(a) Attend a qualifying program at a postsecondary institution in the

Commonwealth; and

(b) Become licensed as a professional engineer o r professional land surveyor in

the Commonwealth.
