KRS 39C.010: Supplementary state funds.

In order to develop and maintain effective local emergency management agencies, and

comprehensive emergency management programs and related activities, it is declared to

be the policy of the Commonwealth of Kentucky to encourage and assist the counties,

cities, urban-county governments or charter county governments of the Commonwealth

by authorizing, and there is hereby authorized, the expenditure of supplementary state

funds for local emergency management agencies which are created, administered,

operated, and maintained pursuant to KRS Chapters 39A to 39F, and are integral

components of the integrated emergency management system of this Commonwealth.
