KRS 41.100: Treasurer to receive and acknowledge notification of moneys from state

agencies -- Approval of travel expenses of state constitutional officers.

(1) The Treasurer shall receive notification from state agencies of all money due or

payable to th e state. The Treasurer shall provide acknowledgment of the

notification to the Finance and Administration Cabinet.

(2) (a) As used in this subsection, "state constitutional officer" has the same meaning

as in KRS 61.105.

(b) 1. Except as provided in subpar agraph 2. of this paragraph, every state

constitutional officer shall submit all travel expense requests to the

Treasurer for approval during the last six (6) months of his or her term

of office.

2. Subparagraph 1. of this paragraph shall not apply to the Treasurer. The

Treasurer shall instead submit his or her travel expense requests to the

Auditor of Public Accounts for approval during the last six (6) months

of his or her term of office.
