KRS 45A.492: Legislative declarations.

The General Assembly declares:

(1) A public purpose of the Commonwealth is served by providing preference to

Kentucky residents in contracts by its governmental bodies; and

(2) Providing preference to Kentucky residents equalizes the competition with other

states that provide preference to their residents.
