KRS 511.010: Definitions for chapter.

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1) "Building," in addition to its ordinary meaning, means any structure, vehicle,

watercraft, or aircraft:

(a) Where any person lives; or

(b) Where people assemble for purposes of business , government, education,

religion, entertainment, or public transportation.

Each unit of a building consisting of two (2) or more units separately secured or

occupied is a separate building;

(2) "Dwelling" means a building which is usually occupied by a person lodging therein;

(3) "Employee" has the same meaning as in KRS 338.015;

(4) "Employer" has the same meaning as in KRS 338.015;

(5) "Premises" includes a building as defined in this section, and any real property;

(6) "Threatening behavior" means behavior intentionally engaged in by a person that

places another person in reasonable apprehension of imminent physical injury; and

(7) "Workplace" means any property that is owned, leased, or controlled by an

employer where the employer's official business is conducted and where one (1) or

more of the employer's employees perform employment duties.
