Sec. 12.

A training course sponsor shall submit to the department a notice of scheduled courses not less than 7 calendar days before the start of those courses, indicating starting and ending dates and times, location, and instructors. A training course sponsor shall also advise the department of cancellation of a course no less than 1 day before the indicated start date of that course.

A training course sponsor shall permit department representatives, as part of a training course inspection, to attend, evaluate, and monitor a training course without charge to the department. The department shall not provide advance notice of a training course inspection. The department may revoke or suspend approval of a training course if the inspection of a field site, conducted under a training course inspection, indicates that a training course is not in compliance with the requirements of section 6.

A training course sponsor shall satisfy the record-keeping requirements for a training provider described in unit I.F. of the asbestos model accreditation plan.
