Mo. Rev. Stat. § 226.975: Commission not required to file plans.

In order to enable the commission to acquire property to preserve a corridor for future highway construction under the provisions of sections 226.950 to 226.973, the commission shall not be required to file detailed plans of the future highway construction with the county clerk as required by section 227.050.
