- Part 2. Consumer Counsel
The committee shall appoint a consumer counsel and set the consumer counsel's salary. The consumer counsel must have the following minimum qualifications and additional qualifications that the committee determines appropriate:
(1) a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with a major or minor in accounting or allied fields;
(2) be admitted to practice law in Montana courts and in the United States district court for the state of Montana.
