7-12-2135: Decision on award of contract.

(1) The board of county commissioners may award the contract for the work or improvement to the lowest responsible bidder at the prices named in the bid and shall reject all proposals other than the lowest regular proposal or bid of a responsible bidder.

(2) The board:

(a) may reject any proposals or bids if it considers this for the public good;

(b) may also reject the bid of a party who has been delinquent or unfaithful in a former contract with the board.
