N.C. Gen. Stat. § 126A-8-6: Alternative dispute resolution.

(a) The Commission may adopt policies on alternative dispute resolution procedures for the resolution of matters constituting grounds for a grievance under this Article.
(b) The Commission may adopt policies on alternative dispute resolution procedures for matters not constituting grounds for a grievance under this Article that cannot be heard by the Office of Administrative Hearings as a contested case. (2026-40, s. 1.)
