N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143B-1409: Conditions for providing enhanced 911 service.

No CMRS provider is required to provide enhanced 911 service until all of the following conditions are met:
(1) The CMRS provider receives a request for the service from the administrator of a PSAP that is capable of receiving and utilizing the data elements associated with the service.
(2) Repealed by Session Laws 2023-137, s. 49(e), effective July 1, 2024.
(3) The local exchange carrier is able to support the requirements of enhanced 911 service. (2007-383, s. 1(a); 2015-241, s. 7A.3(2); 2019-200, s. 7(i); 2023-137, s. 49(e).)
