COMMON CARRIERS AND DISPOSITION OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY

If the consignee’s place of residence or business be unknown, notice may be served on the consignee through the post office, and the carrier may place the freight in a suitable warehouse on storage and give notice thereof to the consignor.
