N.Y. Executive Law § 743: Removal and vacancies

§ 743. Removal and vacancies. Any member may be removed by the

governor for cause, an opportunity having been given him to be heard. A

member who fails to attend three consecutive regular meetings of the

board, unless excused by formal vote of the board, shall be deemed to

have vacated his position.
