N.Y. New York State Printing and Public Documents Law § 2: Classification

§ 2. Classification. The public printing is hereby classified into

two principal parts. The first part shall be known as the legislative

printing. The second part shall be known as the department printing,

which shall include all printing for the various offices, institutions

and departments of the state, other than legislative, classified as

department printing by the commissioner of general services, pursuant to

this chapter.
