N.Y. Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law § 17.07: Municipal regulations; limitations

§ 17.07 Municipal regulations; limitations. A municipality which

acquires or develops real property with funds made available pursuant to

this article may establish reasonable rules and regulations to assure

proper administration and development of such lands, provided that no

rule or regulation restricting the use of such lands to the residents of

the municipality shall be effective without the express approval of the

commissioner.
