N.Y. Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law § 17.09: Restriction on alienation

§ 17.09 Restriction on alienation. Real property acquired or

developed by a municipality with the aid of funds made available

pursuant to this article shall not be sold or disposed of or used for

purposes other than public park, marine, historic site or forest

recreation purposes without the express authority of an act of the

legislature.
